Singing Recital

Sorry I haven't been around much this last week! Things have been a bit crazy. Prepping for an exciting new opportunity coming up. :)

But to make up for my absence, I thought maybe ya'll would want to see this. I had a recital last Friday, and I am really happy with how I did. So this is me singing Someone Like You from the musical Jekyll and Hyde.

Vocal Teacher Plug:

Amber Glissmeyer from AG Vocal Studios.

It was so much fun. Had some great friends and family there supporting me and got the chance to perform for the first time in a long time. And I wasn't even nervous. That's abnormal. Go figure.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Ciao.

Wow. Spectacular voice. Amazing job. Well done.

I've just started getting into the Jekyll and Hyde thing, thanks to a friend lending me the DVDs of the TV series Jekyll.

Dang girl, you are GOOD!
That was actually my wedding song. The one my husband and I danced to. My brother and sister sang it as a duet for us. It was the best!

You should be proud! What a beautiful voice. I wish I could sing. I'm resigned to always be the accompanist.
