Our Fantastical Christmas

Grayson and I had a brilliant first Christmas together.  It wasn't so much about the things we got, but about the time we both got to spend with our new extended families, as well as our thrown-together traditions of our own.  It was kind of fun, decorating for Christmas last-minute in the middle of a half-torn-down apartment.  Christmas in the middle of moving... wonderful indeed.

Just below this picture:  Many boxes

Our beautiful tree was pre-lit, and we didn't have any ornaments so we decorated it with my scarves and jewelry.  If that isn't the perfect first-Christmas memory I don't know what is.

Our stockings were nailed to the wall - and they consisted of awesome fuzzy socks that we bought for Christmas.  The socks are definitely going to be a tradition for us now, every year, though we will probably try to get real stockings.

Though we are poor newlyweds, we were still able to give each other a magnificent Christmas.  I hope yours was as epic as ours was!
