Have you ever had sugar in your ears?

Because I sure have. Everything sounds sticky.

I ask this rather random question due to a rather random occurrence last Tuesday.

I could just explain it, but since I know cooking blogs are so very popular, I figure I can just give you directions. Maybe someday I will actually cook.

The recipe is as follows:
  • A few dozen young adults
  • An empty field
  • A few pounds of
    • flour
    • powdered sugar
    • chocolate powder
Place powdery elements into assorted bombs sewn together out of light cloth or napkins, and let the violence commence. It is wonderful to top it all off with a few water balloons and group photographs. You will not be sorry you did it.

Was it amazing? Yes. The air itself gave you a sugar rush. I started choking within the first five minutes. I pelted my bishop in the face with flour multiple times. Can it get any better than that? I submit that it cannot. And it was all just so colorful.

Oh, and in case you were wondering.

-------->

That's what I looked like when it was all said and done. I was very happy, covered in baking goods. For those who don't know me, the powder is not often there, but I pull that face quite a lot actually. I think it looks better than my regular face.

Since this activity, I have showered, changed, straightened my hair, played with my new laptop (YAY!!), and despite all of my efforts, my ears are still sticky. I think this might be permanent. I consider it an honorable battle wound, though. And I'm going to assume that I probably still taste really good. All is well that ends well.

You guys really do come up with some weird, wild stuff, don't you? I think I may have actually gone to a singles ward if it had been this fun.

Ah, the joys of youth!

Be careful, pets may be very attracted to your ears now.

I once had pepper in the eye.. I'm sure that's more painful than sugar in the ear.

And what you did sounds like a lot more fun too.

Since I'm dieting, I would've had a hard time not wanting to lick everyone. Which is probably not an appropriate church activity.

Oh my goodness. That is utterly spectacular!

I would say now is a good time to entertain suitors for yourself if you're still sticky and sweet. ;)

ooo that sounds like fun. Next time you should fill up some balloons with maple syrup to really live dangerously. Call me next time you are going to play. I'll be over in 2 days.
