You Will Love This Song - Amber Rubarth

Best lines in this song:
"You said you love it when all the words in a song move really fast and your ears have to choose just one little phrase to hold on to.
And you love it when all the chords are really simple so you can play it on the guitar, and then when it goes to a funny one at the end you like that too (insert funny chord here)."

MY WHOLE LIFE IS A LIE

So... apparently the earth has been rotating. Dang that freaking earth!

I have just learned that the astrological signs have officially shifted. (Article) Do I read horoscopes? No. Do I believe in all this zodiac mumbo-jumbo? Not even close. But still!!! That whole lame joke about, "I'm a cancer..." "Oh no, is it terminal?" NO LONGER APPLIES.

Argh. Stupid stars. Ruin my life. I guess I'm a Gemini now. THANKS A LOT.

UPDATE...
I have come to learn that actually this only applies to those who are born after 2011. Lame. I was enjoying my ridiculous comical freak out. Heh...

Fire alarm? We're all gonna die.

What are you supposed to do when the fire alarm goes off in college?

I bring it up because, about 5 minutes ago, I was sitting outside on a bench with a coworker of mine, discussing the matter over the drone of irritating sirens. Every single student around me looked a bit confused, and so did most of the professors involved. Next time, when it's real, we're probably doomed.

(Dun dun duuunnnn...)

Abbott and Costello

Meet the new fishies! I've been hanging out with them a bit while I've been doing the whole wisdom teeth recovery thing. Can't open my mouth all that well, so fishies make good company. They don't make me talk much. I do anyway though, because I'm a tad bit insane.

I'm a bit nauseous when I stand, so I wasn't able to get a great picture of them. They have big googly eyes and they're pretty cute and weird lookin'. Here's a google pic of the same breed of fish. I'll probably go back to beta fish after this, I just wanted a break from that type for a while.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, I totally named them after these guys. The first and original kings of stand up comedy.

New Year, New Semester, New Look

HOWDY YA'LL. Happy... uh... 13th day of 2011. Yes, I am so on top of things.

So how are you doing, audience? Doing well, I hope. I haven't really talked to you in a while. How was your Christmas? How are you liking the winter-ish-ness? What's new? Anything awesome to report? You should tell me, because you know how much I love awesome things.

Oh, what is new with me, you ask? Well, I am moving into an apartment soon, and that is rather epic-licious. I bought a new phone, the Samsung Gravity-T, and I love it. I have bought some new fishies, which I might have to introduce to you sometime soon. I'm getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow, so that will be an awesome drug trip, eh? I've decided that I am going to make my favorite kind of music a focal point on this blog, as well as my life and pictures I take. It is something I am just as passionate about, and as such, why the heck not?

Um, also I have changed my favorite color to THIS, though I also am very fond of THIS and THIS, and sometimes THIS or THIS.
